Funeral services were held Saturday, Oct. 19, 2024, at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Silver Creek, for Mr. Johnathan Tramaine “Rat” Ford, 34, who died Saturday, Oct. 5, 2024, at Lawrence County Hospital in Monticello. 

Rev. Perry Overstreet officiated with interment following in the church cemetery. 

Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Johnathan Ford was born to Miss Katherine Bridges Montgomery. He graduated from Lawrence County High School in 2008.

He was employed with Howard Industries of Laurel.  He loved dancing and spending time with his daughter.

He is survived by his mother, Katherine Bridges Montgomery (Cornell Garner) of Silver Creek; father, Jonathan (Doris) Ford of Monticello; daughter, Guiliana Ford of Collins; two brothers, Lyndon D. Johnson of Silver Creek; Christopher Ford of Monticello; three sisters, Jessica (Dylan) Young of Detroit, Michigan; Muyucka Rhodes and Teairra Ford both of Monticello; special friend, Vivian McNair of Collins and many other relatives and friends.
