Annie Pearl Sims-Williams

Funeral services were held Saturday, March 1, 2025, at Morning Star M. B. Church in Columbia, for Mrs. Annie Pearl Sims-Williams, 84, who passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2025, at Wesley Merit Health in Hattiesburg.

Rev. Kevin D. Russell officiated with interment following at Blue Springs Community Cemetery in Columbia.

Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

She is the daughter of the late Wallace and Dorothy Sims.

She was a member of Morning Star M. B. Church.

Mrs. Williams was a caregiver/homemaker who enjoyed watching Walker Texas Ranger, extensive automobile rides, flowers and spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by her granddaughter (caregiver), Joanetta Boyd of Hattiesburg; son, James Williams of New Orleans, Louisiana; daughters, Cassie Williams of Bassfield; Janie Williams of New Orleans, Louisiana; brother, J. W. Sims; five grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
