Levell Lewis

Funeral services were held Saturday, May 17, 2025, at St. Paul M. B. Church in Silver Creek, for Mr. Level Lewis, 78, of Silver Creek, who passed away on Monday, May 12, 2025, at Southwest Regional Medical Center in McComb.

Dr. Michael O. Evans officiated with interment following at Pen Oak Baptist Church Cemetery in Silver Creek.

Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

He is the son of the late Nazaree and Mildred Williams Lewis. He was a member of St. Paul M. B. Church in Silver Creek. Mr. Lewis was a Deacon and served in the Brotherhood.

Mr. Lewis retired from Georgia Pacific as a foreman. He enjoyed word find, listening to old music, fishing, hunting, and baseball.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley R. Lewis of Silver Creek; son, Marcus Lewis of Sanford, NC; daughter, Kimberly Evans of Flowood; brother, John L. Lewis of Silver Creek; sisters, Bobbie Thomas of Hattiesburg; Mittie Green and Mattie Bournes both of Silver Creek; Angelia Lewis of Monticello; four grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
