Individuals interested in the Mississippi State University Extension Master Gardener program are invited to the attend a special Horticulture Hour on July 23 from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. at the JDC Extension office.

Participants can view the horticulture hour with current master gardeners.

The event will have speakers to cover what the Master Gardener program is about and how the online training works.

There will also be a Master Gardener from each district cover interesting projects they are doing to inspire community involvement and share innovative gardening practices.

Refreshments will be served. Participants can register to attend the program by contacting the JDC Extension office at 601-792-5121 by July 18. 

The Master Gardener Online Training Course will be from Oct. 1 through Dec. 3.

Registration will run from Aug. 13 through Sept.10.
