Joe Louis Fairley

Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at Blackmon Temple C.M.E. Church in Carson, for Mr. Joe Louis Fairley, 86, of Carson, Mississippi who passed away on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at his residence.

Rev. Clementine Echols officiated with interment following at Gray Memorial Gardens in Carson.

Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

He is the son of the late John C. and Myrtle Oatis Fairley.

He was a member of Blackmon Temple C.M.E. Church in Carson.

Mr. Fairley was a Millwright Machinist.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, farming and gardening.

He is survived by: wife, Mary Ruth Fairley; three children, Sylvia, Calvin, and Sharon; brothers, Leonard, Pete; sisters, Joyce, Gilda, Mary Jane, Teresa, Landy, Patricia, Vornita, Gloria Jean, and Shirley Joyce; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
