Car wreck on North Williamsburg Road

Williamsburg Road near Carver Elementary was the site of a wreck on Monday morning that left one injured. Kristen McRaney, 27, was the driver of the silver Honda involved in the two-vehicle wreck with an 18-wheeler log truck. McRaney was taken to Forrest General Hospital with injuries.
The truck was not carrying logs and only minor damage was visible. The driver was Darren May of Big D Trucking.
Bassfield Fire Dept, JDC Sheriff’s Department, and AAA Ambulance responded.
