Mr. & Mrs. Scott Parish of Prentiss are pleased to announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Katie Claire to Chance Hinton, son of Mr. & Mrs. Neal Hinton of Soso, Mississippi.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Diane Stewart and the late Mr. Steve Stewart and Mr. & Mrs. Billy Parish all of Prentiss.

She is a graduate of Prentiss Christian and Jones County Junior College. She is presently attending William Carey University  pursuing a degree in nursing.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Mr. & Mrs. Sam Hinton of Soso, Mississippi.

He is a graduate of West Jones High School and attended Jones County Junior College.  He is employed with M.G. Dyess, Inc. as the ranch manager of Dyess Farms.

Wedding vows will be exchanged at 7:00 p.m. on June 13, 2014, at the home of Billy and Sally Parish in Prentiss, Mississippi, with the reception to follow.
