Unique gifts and handcrafted items created with love and care will be for sale at the Dublin 4th Annual Bazaar to be held Saturday, Oct. 4th, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Ornaments, crocheted hats and scarves, crosses, angels, Christmas and Fall decorations, bird houses and pocket T-shirts along with homemade jellies and jams and much more will be available at the sale. A large pie safe, a well-constructed wooden bench and a wooden table are among the items that will be raffled off that day, all hand crafted and ready for use at your home.

Fried fish plates will be available at $6 each beginning at 11:00 a.m.

The Bazaar is a mission outreach by the ladies of Dublin (and a few men) who love to craft and have put their hobbies into good use to benefit others. They refer to themselves as the LIFT (Ladies in Fellowship Together) group and claim as their organizational scripture 1 John 1:7: “But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another.”

Shirley Burnham / The Prentiss Headlight—Members of Dublin’s LIFT meet each week to work on items for the Bazaar. Proceeds from the event will go to the church projects, African Mission Fund and Operation Christmas Child. L to R: Billie Joyce Martin, Hilda Barrett, Connie Bayles, Dianne Kirby, Martha Soans, Karen Taylor, Donna Jones, June Bayles and Dianna Hutchinson assisted by Lilly and Daisy Taylor.
