Funeral Services were held Thursday, August 18, 2016 at Saulters Moore Funeral Chapel in Prentiss, MS, for Ollan S. Cole, age 70, of New Hebron, MS who passed away at the Jefferson Davis County Hospital on August 15, 2016.  Interment followed in New Hebron Cemetery. Saulters Moore Funeral Home of Prentiss handled all arrangements.

Rev. Mike Grenn officiated. Pallbearers were: Elliott Cole, Tim Sorey, Jon Sorey, Corey Riley, Jeff Sorey, and Daryl Williams.

Ollan “Bud” Cole was born November 10, 1945 in Marion County. He was the son of Ollan Obra Cole and Eula Mae Harrison Cole. He served in the National Guard Army for 10 years.  He retired in 2010 after 40 years working Maintenance in the Paper Mill. He was a member of New Hebron Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Judy Cole of New Hebron, MS; son, Greg Cole (Kim) of Pinola, MS;  daughter, Denise Lyons (Jamie) of New Hebron, MS and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters.
