According the Mississippi Wildlife Fisheries and Parks website, bass fishing was fair to good over the weekend on wacky rigs fished around the willows in 8 to 12 feet of water. Soft stickbaits and topwaters are also good lures to try. All bass between 18” and 24” must be released, and only one over 24” may be kept.

Bream fishing has been good the last couple of weeks. Most are being caught in 8 to 10’ of water on wax worms and crickets. Try the pier and around any structure.

Crappie fishing is slow. Try small minnows and jigs at various depths and around structure until you locate where they are holding.

The catfish bite is slow, but they are usually good on the shallower flats and points. Try cutbait and worms fished on the bottom.
