Funeral services for LaCreta Courtney Rapotec, age 56,  of Destin, FL were held Tuesday, September 6, 2016  at Bassfield Baptist Church, Bassfield, MS. Interment followed in Bassfield Cemetery.

Rev. Ken Roberts and Bro. Charles Lee Loftin officiated. Pall bearers were: Steve Rapotec, Mark Courtney, David Baughman, Terry Mathis, Michael Courtney, David Courtney, Jordan Page, and Jonathan Philips.

Mrs. Rapotec passed away August 31, 2016 in Bassfield, MS.  Saulters Moore Funeral Home of Prentiss was in charge of arrangements.

Clara LaCreta Rapotec was born January 25, 1960 to Percy and Patricia Mathis Courtney. She was a member of Bassfield Baptist Church.  She along with her late husband, Harvey, owned a furniture Liquidation business in Destin, FL for many years.

She is survived by her Uncle Ken Courtney of Jackson, Aunt Edith Baughman of Bassfield, MS, many cousins, and the loves of her life, her two dogs, ToTo and Bella.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
