Mr. LaShun L. Haynes, 45, died Friday September 16, 2016 in the Atlanta area of Fulton County,GA.

Services for Mr. Haynes were held on Saturday September 24, 2016 at Rose Hill M. B. Church, with Pastor Leander Bridges of Spring Hill M. B. Church of Ellisville officiating. Interment was in the Rose Hill Cemetery, with Laird Mortuary in charge of all arrangements.

Mr. Haynes was the son of Ella Mae Blanchard Haynes and the late Ulysses Haynes of rural Lawrence County.

At an early age, he joined the Rose Hill Church in Silver Creek, and remained a member until he moved from the area and united with the New Direction Fellowship Church in Memphis, TN.

Mr. Haynes served his Lord and Rose Hill as a member of the choir, Assistant Superintendent of Sunday School, and many other ministries in the Church. After joining New Direction Fellowship Church, he served as a choir member.

Mr. Haynes was reared and educated in the Lawrence County area, graduating from Lawrence County High in 1989. After prep school, Mr. Haynes graduated from Mississippi State University in Starkville, with a degree in Industrial Engineering.

Mr. Haynes utilized his engineering degree for various companies prior to working for Nissan North America Logistics in Memphis, TN.

Mr. Haynes’ survivors include his mother, Ella Mae Haynes of Silver Creek; one sister, Glenda Haynes of Jackson; five brothers, Gary (Elizabeth) Haynes of Estill, SC, Joseph Curtis (Gwen) Haynes, Michael Haynes, both of Brandon, Patrick Haynes of Columbia, and Randy (Dr. Crystal) Haynes of Silver Creek; three aunts, Carolyn Martin, Erma Barnes, both of Silver Creek and Charlesetta Blanchard; six nephews; six nieces; and a number of other releatives and friends.
