A celebration of the life of Jeffery Thomas Smith was held at the County Line Baptist Church Cemetery on Sunday, October 9, 2016.

Jeffery was born on February 17, 1965. He loved fishing and spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his two daughters, Erica and Amanda Smith, both of Petal; his mother Lynda Terrell of Petal; his father James L. Smith of Mendenhall; two brothers, James Larry Smith, Jr., of Petal and Jason Terrell of Prentiss; a niece Jessica Smith and a great niece Brooklyn Grace, both of Petal.

He was preceded in death by his step-father Larry B. Terrell of Prentiss and a nephew James L. Smith, III of Shivers.
