Graveside services were held Friday, Dec. 2, 2016, at King Family Cemetery in Bassfield, for Lewis Claude Dungan, Jr., age 64, who passed away on Nov. 28, 2016, at his residence in Prentiss. Saulters Moore Funeral Service of Prentiss was in charge of all arrangements.

Rev. Jack Andrews officiated.

Dungan was born on Jan. 8, 1952, in New Orleans, Louisiana to Lewis Dungan Sr. and Willie Worthy Dungan.

He was a member of Cherub Baptist Church and was a service tech for Alltell Phone Company for 36 years.

He is survived by his three sons, Richard and Craig Dungan both of Carson, and Jeremy Dungan of Prentiss; two nieces, Jackie and Kathy Crater of Prentiss; two brothers, Jon Randall Speights of Carson and Robert Neal Speights of Foxworth; and one sister, Regina McNease of Petal.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and wife Rita.
