Mr. James “Jimbo” Hartzog, 64, died Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2017, at his residence in Silver Creek. Saulters Moore Funeral Home of Prentiss is handling arrangements.

Jimbo was born Sept. 4, 1952, in Prentiss to Thomas “Coot” Hartzog and Inez Reed Hartzog. He was an electrician.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Hartzog of Silver Creek, his daughter, Kristie Hartzog and his son Thomas M. Hartzog both also from Silver Creek, four grandchildren and one great-grandchild, two sisters, Charlotte Daniels of Carriere, and Dyan Martin of Silver Creek.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
