Glenn Paul Noto

Glenn Paul Noto, 74, of Carson, died on Sept.12, 2017, at Forrest General Hospital.

He was born on Feb. 12, 1943 in New Orleans, Louisiana. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and served aboard the USS Saratoga during the Cuban Missile Crisis. Glenn was the owner of Noto’s Body Shop in Arabi, Louisiana for over 30 years and a member of the Dawn Busters Golf Club, as well as, an avid Saints fan.

Mr. Noto was preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Lilly Noto of Chalmette, Louisiana; brother, Carl Noto of Chalmette, Louisiana; and son, Gregory Noto of Carson.

He is survived by his wife Shirley Noto of Carson; son, Robert (Stephanie) Noto of Slidell, Louisiana; daughter, Glenda (Bruce) Cameron of Bush, Louisiana; daughter, Cindy (Chris) Pittman of Bassfield; stepdaughter, Pam (John) Stamps of Carson; stepson, Bandy (Melissa) Grace of Carson; brother, Gerald (Lois) Noto of Slidell, Louisiana; brother, Pete Noto of Metarie, Louisiana; 18 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held at Green’s Creek Baptist Church on Saturday, Sept. 16, 2017, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Funeral services were held afterwards with burial at the Green’s Creek Cemetery. Bro. Bob Burge and Bro. Wade Barnes officiated.

Pallbearers were Chris Hathorn, Keaton Stamps, Scott Polk, Jay Noto, Brian Noto and Melvin Noto.
