Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 3, 2018, at Johnson Funeral Home Chapel for Mr. Kenneth Joseph Hudson, 54, who died Wednesday, June 27, 2018, at his residence. Brother Ulysses Buckley officiated. Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Kenneth Hudson was born in Gulfport, to the late Lawrence Hudson Jr. and Mrs. Mary Ann Hudson.

He was baptized at St. John’s Catholic Church in Crystal Springs. He relocated to California with his parents and attended Newark Memorial High School and Ohlone Junior College.

He later moved to Wichita, Kansas and worked with Safeway Distribution Center. In 2013, he moved to Prentiss, to be near his parents.

Mr. Hudson worked several jobs but liked refereeing basketball games and sports. He played on the North Ash Nazarene Church League in Wichita.

He is survived by mother, Mary Ann Hudson; sister, Jacqueline Hudson of Ellenwood, Georgia, brother, Michael Hudson of Atlanta, Georgia and many other relatives and friends.
