The 2020 Jefferson Davis County Tax Lien Sale will be conducted exclusively online.
The auction will begin on Aug. 31 from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. CDT and will continue each subsequent day until all parcels have been offered for sale.
The sale will be a live bid auction hosted at www.govease.com/auctions.
“There are many new features that this service will bring to the participants of the auction,” said Jefferson Davis County Tax Assessor/Collector Kelley Ross Brown. “Our office will provide a user orientation for those concerned about using the new system.”
Online registration will begin July 30 at www.govease.com/auctions. After registration, payment must still be arranged and registration verified with the county. This must be done prior to any bidding.
Daily webinar training sessions will be hosted on the auction website www.govease/com/help. Training will be accessible beginning on July 30.
Benefits of having an online auction are:
•Access the auction from any device (phone, tablet or computer).
•Purchase liens from the comfort of your home or office.
•Access property tax roll data instantly.
•Bidder dashboard tracks activity and purchases in real-time.
