Graveside services were held Saturday, Jan. 30, 2021, at Griffith Cemetery in Prentiss, for Mrs. Lou Holloway, 73, who died Friday, Jan. 22, 2021, at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg.

Rev. Leonard Keyes officiated with Johnson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Lou Holloway was born to the late Percy and Martha Hawthorne in Jefferson Davis County, Mississippi.  She attended J. E. Johnson School.  She was employed at Covington Needleworks for many years. Mrs. Holloway was preceded in death by her husband, Moses Holloway Jr., sister, Mae Bryant, two brothers, Charles and Lloyd Hawthorne.

She is survived by her daughter, Linda Bryant (Leonard) Keyes of Prentiss; sisters, Virginia Hawthorne of Gulfport and Linda Norwood of Jackson; two grandchildren, Asiahlan Bryant and Phyllis Sands both of Hattiesburg; two great-granddaughters, Ari and Kamari Sands both of Hattiesburg and many other relatives and friends.
