Graveside services were held Saturday, Feb. 6, 2021, at Wheeler Cemetery in Bassfield, for Miss Elisha “Kizzie” Marie Herring, 39, who died Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2021, at Ocean Springs Hospital in Ocean Springs.  Rev. Robert Herring officiated with Johnson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Miss Herring was the daughter of the late Reggie Hooker and Mrs. Evelyn Herring.  She attended Prentiss Public Schools.

She is survived by: two daughters, Tatyana and Alicia Walker both of Prentiss; fiance’ Dave Walker of New Orleans, Louisiana; mother, Evelyn Hooker; four sisters, Veronica (Kermit) Young and Tammy Herring both of Prentiss; Betty Herring of Biloxi and Demetric (Lee) Herring of Gulfport; two brothers, Reggie (Keke) Herring of Prentiss and Lorenzo (Nette) Herring of Hattiesburg; godsister, Paticia Sutton of Memphis, Tennessee; many other relatives and friends.
