Graveside services were held Friday, May 14, 2021, at Booth Cemetery in Bassfield, for Miss Sheila Booth, 57, who died Monday, May 10, 2021, at her residence.  Rev. Dr. Charles Holbrook officiated with Johnson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Miss Sheila Booth was born to the late Roy Lee Booth and Mrs. Frances Haynes Booth.  She was a member of Sweetwater C.M.E. Church in Bassfield.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Mickey Lane Stubbs; maternal grandparents, George and Edith Haynes; paternal grandparents, N. J. and Jarutha Booth; maternal aunts, Mary Lee Hall and Ethel Jean Hall and maternal uncle, Leegusta Haynes.

She is survived by  her mother, Frances Booth of Bassfield; two sisters, Rosemary Haynes of Bassfield and Jacqueline Sims of Hattiesburg; nephew, Erwin Bridges; maternal aunts, Georgia Polk, Lela Hall, Yourlinda (Edward) White and Jessie Haynes; maternal uncles, Johnnie (Sarah) Haynes and Curtis (Lucy) Wheeler; paternal aunts, Nadine (John) Thompson and Frances (Charles) Echols both of Bassfield; two godchildren, Lasheriton Wilkerson and Karter Woullard and many other relatives and friends.
