Funeral services were held Sunday, July 11, 2021, at Johnson Funeral Home Chapel for Mr. Henry Alex Jones, 54, who died Tuesday, July 6, 2021, at University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.  Dr. Abram Muhammad officiated with interment following in Griffith Cemetery in Prentiss.  Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Henry Jones is the son of the late Robert B. and Fannie Jones.  He attended Nation of Islam Muhammad Mosque #78 in Jackson.  He was formerly a forklift operator at Miles Lumber. He loved spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by his daughters Tierra Hooker and Ashley Hooker both of Hattiesburg; sister, Carla Jones of Prentiss; three grandchildren; two nieces, one nephew and many other relatives and friends.
