The Jefferson Davis County Women in NAACP (WIN) will host a Breast Cancer Awareness Program and Walk as part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The program and walk will be held Oct. 9 in the Longleaf Trace Park in Prentiss from 10 a.m. until noon. “Please wear your favorite pink t-shirt or attire and bring a lawn chair,” said program coordinator Cammie Reese. Refreshments and goodie bags will be provided. “Let’s join together as a community to support our fighters, to celebrate our survivors and to honor our taken. Please bring your family and friends for a short program and a one mile walk to support breast cancer awareness.”
