Graveside services were held Saturday, Nov. 13, 2021, at Pen Oak Baptist Church in Silver Creek, for Mrs. Lashunda Magee Dixon, 47, who died Thursday, Nov. 4, 2021, at her residence. Rev. Micheal Evans officiated with Johnson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Lashunda Dixon was born to the late James Magee and Mrs. Lilly Lewis. She was a member of St. Paul Baptist Church in Silver Creek, where she served as an usher. She was a caregiver who loved cooking, cleaning, listening to music and spending time with family and friends.

Mrs. Dixon was preceded in death by her sister, Geneva Davis.

She is survived by her husband, Maurice Dixon of Silver Creek; stepdaughter, Kanesha Dixon; goddaughter, Tysla Bridges; mother, Lilly Lewis of Silver Creek; mother-in-law, Bobbie R. Johnson; three brothers, Willie Magee of Monticello; Robert (Flora) Peyton of Japan; Gary Magee of Florida; three sisters, Jeanette Oatis of Silver Creek; Teresa Tate of Monticello; Mary Magee of Kathleen, Georgia and many other relatives and friends.
