Graveside services were held Saturday, Dec. 4, 2021 at Macedonia Baptist Church in Mt. Olive, for Mr. W. T. Griffith, 71, who died Sunday, Nov. 18, 2021 at his residence. Rev. Perry Feazell officiated with Johnson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mr. W. T. Griffith was born to the late Mack Griffith and Genola Walker. He was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church where he was a member of the choir and on the Trustee Board.

He loved hunting, horse back riding, driving log truck and playing Santa for Christmas programs.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, George Funchess, Aaron Funchess and Glen Funchess; two sisters, Maxine Newsome and Delorse Craft.

Mr. Griffith is survived by his common law wife, Dewyne Holloway of Prentiss; one daughter, Kenya Griffith; one son, Rodney Griffith; three grandchildren: three sisters, Mary A. Harper of Gulfport; Minnie R. Griffith of Prentiss; Genetta (Darrell) Shields of Magee; one brother, Rickey (Linda) Funchess of Magee; one close friend, Ernest Magee and many other relatives and friends.
