Graveside services were held Saturday, Jan. 8, 2022, at Sweetwater C.M.E. Church in Bassfield for Miss Arielle Williams, 28, who died Friday, Dec. 31, 2022, at her residence. Rev. Charlton Johnson officiated with Johnson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Arielle Williams was born to Rhoderick Glenn and Mary Ann Williams. She attended Bassfield High School and graduated in 2011; she went on to pursue her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from William Carey University. She worked with Walmart as a customer service representative for 10 years and later began Assistant Teaching in the Lamar County School District.

Miss Williams was a devoted mother and aunt; spending time with LB3, Parish and Kallisyn and Arodigous.

She was preceded in death by Daryl Williams and Aunt Hattie Gray.

She is survived by her son, Larry Bourne III; parents, Rhoderick and Mary Williams; sister, Kenyetta (Terrell) Buckley; brother, Rhoderick Williams Jr. all of Bassfield; Maternal grandparents, Louis and Mary Magee; Bobby and Patricia Bass of Bassfield; Cheryl Gray of Prentiss; many other relatives and friends.
