Funeral services were held Saturday, June 18, 2022, at Jordan Hill Baptist Church for Mrs. Darlene Rogers, 73, who died Friday, June 10, 2022, at Forrest General Hospital, Hattiesburg, Mississippi. Elder Thad Easter officiated with interment following in the church cemetery.  Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Darlene Rogers was born to the late Odie and Rachel Martin. She was a member of Jordan Hill Baptist Church.  She was formerly a cook at various places.

She was preceded in death by his daughter, Gloria Rogers, brothers, Junior and Robert Martin; sister, Shirley Jones and four other siblings.

She is survived by children Louis Marin of Prentiss, and Mary Drummond of Oakvale; four sisters, Annie Easter of Jackson; Ella Johnson of Carson, Margie Martin and Glory Pope both of Prentiss; two brothers, John Martin of Carson and Jervis Martin of Kileen, Texas and many of relatives and friends.
