Funeral services were held Saturday, July 23, 2022, at South Pleasant Hill Baptist Church for Mr. Levell “Buddy” Hill, 84, who died Tuesday, July 19, 2022, at Asbury Hospice House in Hattiesburg. Rev. Robert Collins officiated with interment following in the church cemetery.  Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Levell Hill was born in Prentiss, Mississippi to the late J. P. and Bessie Williams Hill.

He was preceded in death by: siblings, Robert Hill, Juanita Joiner, Willie Hill, Annie Roger, Jearlean Barnes, Mydonia Hubbard, J. P. Hill Jr. and Charles Ray Hill.

He is survived by his siblings, Iona Duckworth and Eula Allen both of Gulfport; Getrude Hall, Bonnie Bass, Betty Watts, Helen Hill and Belinda Williams all of Prentiss; one aunt, Easter McCullum of Prentiss; special cousins, Sarah McGowan and R. C. Hill; special friend, Debbie Knight Rushing and many other relatives and friends.
