Phil Longino

Funeral services were held Saturday, Aug. 13, 2022, at New Galilee Baptist Church in Mendenhall, for Mr. Phil “Chuck” Longino, 57, who died Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2022, at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. Rev. Sydney Jones officiated with interment following at Springhill Baptist Church in Silver Creek. Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Phil Longino was born to the late Levern Walker and Mamie Lee Longino. He was a member of New Galilee Baptist Church in Mendenhall. He was a laborer who loved basketball, baseball, gardening and spending time with family and friends. He was a huge fan of the Dallas Cowboys.
He was preceded in death his wife, Diane Allbritton Longino; two brothers, Gary Longino and Ray Longino.
He is survived by special friend, Carolyn Hubbard of Magee; three sons, Derrick Allbritton of D’Lo; Cedrick (Cindy) Allbritton of Magee and Frederick (Jama) Allbritton of Pearl; brother, Kenneth Longino of Conroe, Texas; eight sisters, Glenda Longino of Bassfield; Eloise (Lorenzo) Longino, Patricia (Christopher) Longino, Latrenda (Lamont) Rogers and Carolyn Longino all of Prentiss; Verna Williams of Silver Creek; Carolyn Barnes of Hattiesburg and Phyllis Drummond of D’Lo; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild and many other relatives and friends.
