Funeral services were held Saturday, Oct. 22, 2022, at Ruby K. Johnson Chapel for Mr. Larry Pernell Hubbard, 48, who died Sunday, Oct. 16, 2022, at his residence. Rev. Robert Collins officiated with interment following at South Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Larry Hubbard was born to the late Myodonia Hubbard and B. C. McCullum. He was a member of  South Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. He was a 1992 graduate of Prentiss High School and later attended Hinds County Community College.  He lived in Jackson, and worked at Green Oaks Nursery for several years.   He later moved back to Prentiss and was currently working at Rudolph Foods.

Mr. Hubbard was preceded in death by his daughter, Amelia D. Hubbard and brother, Willie Earl Hubbard.

He is survived by two sons, La’Vontae Hubbard of Bassfield; Landon J. Hubbard of Prentiss; two brothers, Robert A. Hubbard and B. C. McCullom both of Prentiss; four sisters, Joyce McCornell and Letha McCullum both of Hattiesburg; Barbara Hubbard of Prentiss and Sandra (Trey) Allen of Wiggins and many other relatives and friends.
