Funeral services were held Saturday, Dec. 31, 2022, at Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Prentiss, for Mrs. Deala Mae Holloway Lott, 99, who passed away Friday, Dec. 23, 2022, at the Lawrence County Nursing Center in Monticello. Rev. Ozell White officiated with interment following in the church cemetery. Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Deala Mae Holloway Lott was born to the late Jim and Susie Holloway. Mrs. Lott was employed with Five County Child Development (Sophia Sutton) and Millcreek.

Mrs. Deala Mae Holloway Lott is survived by her daughters, Rutha Lott, DeWayne Holloway, Waveyon (James) Holloway, Nancy Flowers, Margie (Verbie Jr.) Tatum, and Carolyn (Don) White; 41 grandchildren, 102 great-grandchildren, and 95 great, great grandchildren; two special friends, Denise Barnes and Angela Hooker Buckley and many other relatives and friends.
