Debra Lynn Blair, age 68, entered into the eternal rest of her Lord late Sunday morning, Jan. 22, 2023, at her home in Prentiss.  The family will announce a memorial service at a later date.

Debra Lynn Blair was born on Feb. 4, 1954 in Columbia, to R.L. and Iva Jo Boyd Bryant.  Debra graduated from Prentiss High School and afterward worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Marion General Hospital in Columbia.  However, Debra will be best remembered for the years she spent at Ward’s Restaurant in Prentiss.  It was here that she made many friends and enjoyed serving her loyal customers.

Having a passion for arts and crafts, Debra enjoyed painting and also liked rock and roll music.  Her family relates that one of the things Debra loved most was her dogs; especially her two Bulldogs, Boo-Boo and Beavis.  Debra was of the Baptist faith.

Debra was preceded in death by her parents, R.L. and Iva Jo Bryant.

Her memory will forever be cherished by her daughter, Samantha Brister (Will) of Jayess; her son, Jonathan Dubose of Prentiss; her brother, Ricky Bryant of Prentiss and her nephew, Chris Bryant of New Hebron.  Debra also leaves behind a grandson, Lleyton Brister.
