Funeral services were held Saturday, March 4, 2023, at Hollisday Creek M. B. Church in Carson, for Mrs. Fannie Lee Hinton Echols, 63, who passed away Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2023, at her residence. Rev. Robert Minor officiated with interment following in the church cemetery. Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Fannie Lee Hinton Echols is the daughter of the late Cornelius and Mae Lee Sims Hinton. She was a member of Hollisday Creek M. B. Church. She enjoyed her service to the pastor aide, being an usher, and the choir. Serving others was the enjoyment of her life.

She is survived by her daughters, Tonya Thompson, Marian Haynes, Maggie Drummonds, Kira Jones, Monica Hinton, Olivia Williams, and Keisha Barnes; sons, Russell Thompson, Marcus Hinton, Ricky Drummonds and Jimmie Drummonds.
