The Jefferson Davis County School District will be celebrating Education Awareness Month through March 31.

“We will tell our story through empowering teachers, highlighting students, teachers, and community,” said JDCH Assistant Principal Andrea Curb.

Curb is seeking donations from business owners, community leaders/members, churches and private individuals ororganizations to help tell the story.

Activities planned during the month are:

•Host the annual Career Fair.

•Celebrate National Social Emotional Learning Day.

•Shop N Learn Booth (Parents will gain information while shopping at the local grocery store).

•JDC Entrepreneurship Pop up Expo.

•Parent Academy Expo.

•Senior Adopt a Senior Citizen.

•Alcorn Choir Performance.

•Health Fair.

•Annual Luncheon.
