Saints players tapped for all-star games

After a second championship baseball season at Prentiss Christian, four players were selected to play in MAIS post-season games.
Three PCS seniors, Brantley Breeland, Jordan McPhail and Scooby Thomspon were included in one of the 18 player teams chosen to play in the annual MAIS 1A-2A- 3A All-Star game held May 22 at Mississippi College in Clinton.
Breeland played on the Navy team against teammates McPhail and Thompson who were on the red team. The All-star game went 9 innings and ended with a score of Navy team 18 Red team 5.
MAIS held their second annual Futures game that consist of 72 Sophomores and Juniors from 2A thru 6A private schools who are nominated by their coaches and selected by a selection committee chosen by the MAIS Director of Athletics.
This year Dan Sinclair, a sophomore at Prentiss Christian, was chosen to play on the Red team for the 2A thru 4A and represent the Saints.
The game took place at Mississippi College in Clinton at May 22.
Sinclair was chosen the MVP of the 2A thru 4A Red team for the game.
The Futures game went 7 innings and ended in a tie of 6-6.
