Funeral services were held Sunday, July 2, 2023, at Holly Springs C.M.E. Church in Bassfield, for Mr. Robert Earl Boothe, 76, who passed away on Tuesday, June 20, 2023, at his residence.

He is the son of the late Breland and Hattie Booth. He was a member of Holly Springs C.M.E. Church in Bassfield.

Mr. Boothe was a retired diesel mechanic, U.S. Army Veteran; enjoyed hanging out with family and friends and was a football fan of Jerry Rice and Steve McNair.

He is survived by his sons, Charles Boothe (Yenenesha), Jacksonville, Florida; Devin Boothe, Bassfield; daughters, Jacqueline Boothe, Bassfield; Youlanda Boothe Hicks (Charles), Prentiss; Teresa Boothe, Bassfield; brother, Holly Boothe (Frankie), Tylertow; 17 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
