Celebration of life services were held Friday, July 7, 2023, at Johnson Funeral Home in Prentiss, for Mr. Leander Earl Lampton, 62, who passed away Wednesday, June 21 in Jefferson Davis County. Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements

Mr. Lampton is the son of Mrs. Arlean Lampton and the late A. L. Lampton. He was a member of Salem Baptist Church in Jayess. He loved collecting, riding his bike, and playing baseball.

He is survived by a loving mother, Mrs. Arlean Lampton of Hattiesburg; siblings, Bonnie Williams of Prentiss; Addie Kidd of Hattiesburg; Evelyn (Arcell) Carr of Jayess; Theodore Lampton of Prentiss; Shard Lampton, and Pamela (Lance) Adams, both of Prentiss; LaTrina Lampton (Lawrence Jackson) of Hattiesburg; Oliver (Michelle) Lampton of Gulfport and many other relatives and friends.
