Graveside services were held Sunday, Dec. 31, 2023, at White Family Cemetery, in Prentiss, for Mrs. Shequitta White, 53, who passed away on Sunday, Dec. 24, 2023, at her residence.

Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

She is the daughter of the late Billy Ray Walker and Mrs. Nora Lee Walker.

She was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church in Magee.

Mrs. White was a Certified Nurse Assistant at The Grove in Columbia.

She loved caring for John, her special residents, talking on the phone, spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Jewel White Jr. of Prentiss; children, Cornelius, Montreal, Jewenea (Jeremy), Demario (Schmeka), and John Craft; mother, Nora Walker; brothers, James (Shaniqua) McCollum; David (Alice) Hayes; and William (Andrea) Walker; sister, Mary Jo Barber; four grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
