Memorial services were held Thursday, May 23, 2024, at Ruby K. Johnson Chapel for Mr. Kenneth Cooke Williams, 76, who died Sunday, May 12, 2024, at Wesley Merit Health in Brookhaven.

Rev. Michael O. Evans officiated with Johnson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Kenneth Williams was born to the late Booker T. Williams and Virginia Daniels. He was reared by the late Thelma and Willie Cooke. He was the grandson of the late Louella Smith Holloway.

He was educated in the New Orleans Public School System. He served in the Marines where he received an honorable discharge.

Mr. Williams was married to Billie Williams of New Orleans, Louisiana and to this union one child was born.

He was baptized at Stronger Hope Baptist Church in New Orleans, Louisiana.

He is survived by his wife, Billie Williams; one daughter, Raquel (Andre’) Norman of New Orleans, Louisiana; two grandsons, True (Tameka) Norman of New Orleans, Louisiana; Tre’Armani (Kimber) Norman of Las Vegas, Nevada; three great-grandchildren; godson, Marcel Garibaldi; goddaughter, Christina Hall and many other relatives and friends.
