The University of Southern Mississippi awarded undergraduate, graduate and specialist degrees to more than 1,900 students graduating in the spring 2024 semester.

USM graduates from the local area include Tabreil Nasha Thompson, Bachelor of Science; Najadanika Simmons, Bachelor of Social Work and Davida Lazondra Kun, Master of Arts in Teaching, all of Bassfield.

Laura Jule Hagen of Carson graduated with a Master of Arts in Teaching.   

Graduates from Prentiss include Demyia Letesha Hooker, Bachelor of Science; Tristen Cortez Walker, Bachelor of Science; Olivia Lois  Boleware, Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Mary Kate Jones, Master of Science.
