After their marriage, Glenn and Janice moved to Lake Charles then to Shreveport as Glenn followed his career with Evans Products in the building supply business.

Not only did she enjoy raising a garden and working in her flowers, but she also was an animal lover.
Always having cats and dogs as pets, she also raised chickens.
Her family warmly recalls how Janice would ride her bicycle, along with other family members, and a particular pet Guinea would ride on the handlebars of her bike.
Mrs. Geiger was a member of the Worldwide Church of God.
Mrs. Geiger is preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Tommie Ward and her brothers-in-law, Olin C Geiger, Travis Geiger and Craig Geiger.
