Funeral services were held Saturday, July 6, 2024, at Springhill Baptist Church for Mr. William Young, 23, who died Saturday, June 22, 2024, in Lincoln County. Rev. Willie Young Jr. officiated with interment following at Young Cemetery in Prentiss.  Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. William Young was born to Mrs. Beatrice Coleman and Mr. Willie Young Sr. in Hattiesburg.  He grew up in Prentiss and attended Jefferson Davis County High School where he graduated in 2019.  He was a generous person and would help anyone that needed him. He loved singing and caring for his children.

He is survived by his two children, Averi Young and William Young Jr.; wife, Stacey McNulty; one brother, Willie Young Sr. and two sisters, Keona Young and Diana Walker and four nieces and two nephews.
