Memorial services were held Sunday, Aug. 18, 2024, at Jefferson Davis Lake for Mr. Domanick Ramone Stewart, 16, who died Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2024, in Prentiss.

Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of services.

Mr. Stewart is the son of Domanick Stewart and Sylvia Hawthorne.

He attended Prentiss First Baptist Church.

He was a student at Jefferson Davis County High School where he was a Junior.

He was a member of the Jefferson Davis County High School Jaguar Football Team, Track and Baseball Team.

His hobbies were listening to music, clothing trends, jogging, lifting weights, going to Jeff Davis Lake and spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by his father, Domanick Stewart; mother, Sylvia Hawthorne of Prentiss; step-father, Edgar Malone of Prentiss; brothers, Joseph Hawthorne and Cortez Stewart both of Hattiesburg; Ezsus Malone and Isaiah Hawthorne both of Prentiss; maternal grandmother, Angelia Wallace of Hattiesburg and paternal grandmother,  Priscilla Stewart of New Hebron.
