Funeral services were held Saturday, Aug. 31, 2024, at W. C. Graves Multipurpose Center in Bassfield, for Miss Sharon Louise Adams, 59, who died Monday, Aug. 19, 2024, at her residence. Rev. Johnny Porter officiated with interment following at Shorts Chapel Methodist Church in Carson.

Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Miss Sharon Adams was born to the late Hollis Earl and Dorothy Ree Adams.  She attended Bassfield High School and was a member of Short Chapel C.M.E. Church.

She was employed at Sanderson Farm for over 25 years.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Anthony Earl Adams and son, Patrick Darnell Adams.

She is survived by three sons, Rodrigus Adams, Marcus Kim) Adams and Kedrick Adams all of Carson; two brothers, Hollis Ray (Elizabeth) Adams, Derick Adams of Carson; three sisters, Patricia Adams of Carson; Lisa Adams of Ocean Springs and Erica (Thomas) Adams of Carson; one god-sister, Sandra Adams of Waveland; six grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
