UPDATE: Missing girl found safe

The Jefferson Davis County Sheriff’s Office is reporting that Shaniya Smith has been found safe in Byram.
The Jefferson Davis County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing person, Shaniya Smith.
Smith has been missing since late Monday night.
She was last seen in Prentiss wearing a black shirt, gray pants and sandals.
She has been reported to the National Center For Missing and Endangered, Inc.
