Funeral services were held Saturday, Sept. 28, 2024, at Oak Grove Baptist Church in Monticello for Miss Margaret Brown, 69, who died Thursday, Sept. 18, 2024, at Lawrence County Nursing Center in Monticello.
Rev. Michael Evans officiated with interment following in the church cemetery.
Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Miss Margaret Brown was born to the late Odell Brown Sr. and Mary Brown in Louisiana.
She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church.
She is survived by sisters, Nora Brown and Veronica Barnes both of Monticello; brothers, James Brown and Odell Brown, Jr. both of Monticello; Kent Aultman of Prentiss; special friend, Elnora Brown and caregiver, R. D. Brown Jr. of Monticello.
