The Jefferson Davis County Women in NAACP (WIN) will host a Breast Cancer Awareness Program and Walk as part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

The program and walk will be held Oct. 26 in the Longleaf Trace Park in Prentiss. The walk will begin at 9 a.m., with the progam following at 10 a.m.

“Please wear your favorite pink t-shirt or attire and bring a lawn chair,” said program coordinator Cammie Reese. Refreshments and goodie bags will be provided.

“Let’s join together as a community to support our fighters, to celebrate our survivors and to honor our taken. Please bring your family and friends for a short program and a one mile walk to support breast cancer awareness.”
