Test and Treat now available at the JDC Health Department in Prentiss

If you’re not feeling well, you can now get tested for both the Flu and COVID at the Jefferson Davis County Health Department.
Patients that test positive for the Flu can also receive treatment with Tamiflu.
Historically, the next few months are the most high-risk for respiratory viruses according to the Mississippi State Department of Health.
Test and Treat is available for those 13-years-old and up.
The Jefferson Davis County Department of Health is located at 1185-A Frontage Road in Prentiss.
The department is open Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. and can be reached at 601-792-5135.
If you test positive within 48 hours of onset of Flu symptoms, you can receive Tamiflu when clinically eligible.
Vaccinations for Flu and COVID are available for ages six months to adults. RSV immunizations are available for infants.
