Rodrigus D. Adams

Funeral services were held Saturday, Dec. 14, 2024, at G. W. Carver Elementary School in Bassfield, for Mr. Rodrigus Damario Adams, 43, who died Sunday, Dec. 1, 2024, in Jefferson Davis County.

Rev. Johnny Porter officiated with interment following at Short Chapel Methodist Church in Bassfield.

Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Rodrigus Adams was born to the late Sharon Adams and Mr. Roger Mikel. He attended Bassfield High School in Bassfield.   

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Hollis Ear and Dorothy Ree Adams; maternal grandfather, Lafayette Mikel; brother, Patrick D. Adams.

He is survived by his father, Roger Mikel of Jackson; brothers, Brandon Mikel of Tennessee; Marcus (Kim) Adams and Kedrick Adams both of Carson and Deantye Mikel of Minnesota; one sister, Tanisha Mikel of California; paternal grandmother, Emma L. Harper and many other relatives and friends.
