Master J’Shun Josiah Magee

J’Shun Josiah Magee was born on June 19, 2023, to LaSherrie Buckley and Johnathan Magee. J’Shun went to be with the Lord at the tender age of one.

Though his time on earth was brief, the light he brought into our lives was immeasurable.

Affectionately known as “Doodle Butt,” J’Shun was full of life and wonder. He was an energetic soul who found joy in every leaf, every breeze, and every ray of sunshine.

He loved being outdoors, where he could explore the world around him with bright eyes and tiny hands-laughing, running, and soaking in God’s creation as though he knew it was a gift.

He was a blessing beyond measure-a true gift from heaven who brought joy to his parents’ hearts from the moment he was born.

His smile could brighten even the darkest day, and his laughter filled the home with warmth and life. In his short time with us, J’Shun taught us more about love, faith, and the preciousness of each moment than words could ever express.

He leaves behind a family who cherished him deeply: his loving parents, LaSherrie Buckley and Johnathan Magee; siblings, Jha’Nyla and Jayden Magee; paternal grandmother, Hope Magee-Collins of Gulfport; paternal grandfather, Johnny Ray Denham of Collins; maternal grandfather, Charles Buckley of Gulfport; great-grandfather, Johnny C. Lee of Collins; paternal great-great-grandparents, Buck and Katherine Harper of Short Chapel and many other relatives and friends who adored him.
